Father charged with causing death of young son |

TANNERSVILLE – A Long Pond man allegedly was drunk when he crashed his car last onth, killing his 16-month-old son. Christopher Thomas, 22, was charged Thursday with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and other crimes. Police say that on December 10, Thomas was driving on Route 611 when he attempted a left turn in the path of an oncoming vehicle. Police also say that he told a female passenger to sit in the passenger seat and tell police she was driving. He later admitted he was the driver. Thomas is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. |
