STROUD TWP – A state fire marshal is now involved in the investigation of an explosion police say may have come from a methamphetamine operation in the basement of a home at 321 Pine Avenue.  Saturday evening.  Investigators say indications are one of the occupants of the house was cooking meth when it exploded. 

The woman reportedly ran upstairs, advised her mother of the accident then fled. 

Police have not identified the daughter.

The home was extensively damaged.  Several animals kept by the homeowner reportedly died.
