POCONO TWP – A father who was allegedly drunk when he crashed his car, killing his 16-month-old son, will stand trial on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.  Christopher Thomas, 22, appeared for a preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Police say that on December 10, Thomas was driving on Route 611 when he attempted a left turn in the path of an oncoming vehicle.  Police also say that he told a female passenger to sit in the passenger seat and tell police she was driving.  He later admitted he was the driver.

Thomas is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
