EAST STROUDSBURG – Three recent robberies in the Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg areas bear a number of similarities, leading police to think the same person, or persons, mayh be involved. 

The first robbery was at the China Star restaurant in East Stroudsburg.  The next robbery, three days later, was at a Smokin’ Joe’s tobacco shop in East Stroudsburg.    A day later, the Hess Gas Station in Stroudsburg was robbed.

In all three armed robberies, the suspect was wearing a mask, blue gloves and appeared to be using the same handgun.  The robber is described as ‘polite’.  He is believed to be a male around 20 years old.
