MATAMORAS - The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department held its second annual Pet Food Drive in December to support the Pike County Humane Society. This year thanks to the generous donations of residents the department brought in 398 pounds of pet food. The Pike County Humane Society has been a great ally of the police department helping us with our four legged friend calls in the Westfall/Matamoras area.

As our area grows, so does out pet population. Unfortunately we have seen an increase in stray pets roaming the towns. The humane society helps find new homes for these abandoned pets.
