MANCHESTER TWP – Police say Wayne County woman called them late Sunday night to say she shot her husband.  Joanne Noll, 54, is in custody, charged with attempted homicide and other crimes. She is being held without bail.

Police responded quickly to the home on Pine Mill Road in Equinunk, to find James Noll, 60, with a gunshot wound to the chest.  James Noll is in critical condition at Geisinger CMC Hospital. 

Few details have been released about why the shooting happened.
