DELAWARE TWP – Police arrested the driver of a car that backed out of a driveway, and was struck by an oncoming car, causing injury to the second driver.  The incident happened June 14 on Silver Lake Road at Pine Hill Lane.

A police investigation revealed that Daniel Fay, 21, backed into the road and was struck by an oncoming car driven by David Tschop, 57, of Dingmans Ferry.  Tschop lost control of his vehicle.  He sustained moderate injuries.  

Police say Fay fled from the scene, but was later charged with causing an accident involving personal injury, a misdemeanor
