Man arrested in store parking lot faces multiple drug charges

MOUNT POCONO - PMRPD patrol Officers observed a suspicious situation and a male passed out inside of a vehicle in the Walmart Parking lot.

Upon further investigation the occupant of the vehicle was identified as Kyle Fogel, 37, of Wind Gap.  Officers observed apparent drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle additional drug paraphernalia, suspected controlled substances, and a suspected mobile methamphetamine lab were located.

Fogel was taken into custody and a later search, incident to his arrest, revealed that he had a quantity of methamphetamine secreted in a tin, hidden within his underwear. Items found in the vehicle included pseudoephedrine, lithium, drain cleaner, drain crystals, sodium, bottles, coffee filters, funnel, and tubes or hoses. These are all items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Also located in the search was a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine, a silver canister/vile used to transport methamphetamine, and other components used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Investigation also revealed communications consistent with the manufacture and trafficking of methamphetamine.

Fogel was arraigned by Magistrate Olsen and released on $25,000.00 bail. His charges include Possession of Liquefied ammonia gas; precursors and Chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine(Ungraded Felony), Criminal Use of a communication Device(Felony-3), Possessing Instruments of a Crime(Misd-1), Possession of a controlled substance(Misd), and Possession of drug paraphernalia(Misd).
