TANNRSVILLE – An elderly man died hours after fire raged through a condo early Sunday morning. 

William Smolinsky, 89, was taken to a hospital, where he died.  Smolinsky, and an unidentified woman, were found unconscious in the unit at North Ridge Estates, about 2 Sunday morning.

The condition of the woman is not known.

The fire has tentatively been ruled accidental
