Part of Marshalls Creek Bypass ready to open

MARSHALLS CREEK – Several area state and local officials gathered Friday to cut the ribbon on a project that has been awaited for decades.  When all work on the bypass is completed in the fall, lengthy backups in both directions at the notorious turn on Route 209, should largely disappear.

After PennDOT places traffic on the  Bypass on the evening of Monday, June 11, it will close Seven Bridges Road between the roundabout at the southern end of the Bypass and the Bridge over Marshalls Creek for approximately two-to-three days. This is to allow workers to complete the tie-in of the Bypass' roundabout with the existing Seven Bridges Road pavement.

Traffic on Seven Bridges Road traveling to and from the Village of Marshalls Creek will be detoured on the Bypass until the roundabout tie-in is completed later in the week.
