POLK TWP – Police in Monroe County have charged an Kresgeville man with killing his mother late Tuesday night.  Police say Christopher Strachn, 21, admitted chocking and stabbing Adrienne Strachn, 53, in the home they shared.  He called 911 after committing the crime

Christopher Strachn is charged with criminal homicide.  Police have not speculated on a motive for the killing. 

According to reports, the suspect has had prior problems with the law and spent time in jail.
