TOBYHANNA – One of two people suspected of taking property from a former residence surrendered, but the other person is still on the loose.   

Mindy Tomaro, 31, and Jeffrey Schnettler, 31, both of Tobyhanna, agreed to surrender to police, but only Tomaro turned herself in.  Schnettler refused to surrender, claiming he had to go to work in New York. 

A warrant was issued for Schnettler.

Tomarro is free on $15,000 unsecured bail.
