HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today posted on its website the revenue figures for May table games play at the eleven operating casinos.

Mount Airy Casino Resort revenues dropped about ten percent from May of 2011.

With an average of 1,031 tables in daily operation statewide during May, gross revenue from the play of all table games was $55,219,978. That amount was 7.4% higher than in May 2011 when revenue totaled $51,401,083 with an average of 891 tables operating on a daily basis.

Tax revenue generated to the Commonwealth’s General Fund from table games (14% of gross revenue) during May was $7,875,385. In addition, table games contributed tax revenue to the Local Share Fund (2% of gross table revenue) of $1,104,400 during May.
