MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP – A wife who was swimming in an in-ground pool left briefly only to return and find her husband floating unresponsive in the pool.  The wife sought help from a neighbor to poll Michael Lundquist from the pool.  Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Lundquist, 58, was later pronounced dead at Pocono Medical Center. 

Lundquist is known to have had some physical difficulties which may have played a role in the death, which is being considered accidental.  An autopsy is scheduled for today. 

The accident happened Sunday afternoon at their home on Craigs Meadow Road.
