Trial ordered for driver in fatal Rt 33 crash

SAYLORSBURG – A New Jersey man involved in a cdrash that killed a Scranton man on Route 33 two years ago will stand trial on charges stemming from the accident. 

Jaswinder Singh, 30, of Parlin NJ, appeared for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.  He is charged with vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment. 

In July 2010, Singh lost control of his tractor-trailer crashed across the median and hit a car driven by Paul Miller, 21, who died at the scene.
