MOUNT POCONO – Two people were wounded during a volley of gunfire outside a bar in Mount Pocono early Monday morning.  Police, meanwhile, continue to investigate what precipitated the shooting.

It happened about 3:30 a.m. at the Copa Bar and Grille, off Route 611. 

As many as 20 shots were fired outside the bar, reportedly by more than one shooter.  Two of the bullets hit people, causing injuries described as ‘non-life-threatening’, although both victims are reported in serious condition at area hospitals. 

Some of the bullets hit buildings, including the bar and an adjacent business office, along with a car.
