HAMILTON TWP – Police have received reports of a man who apparently tried to scam residents along Hickory Valley Road, earlier this week.  The man would knock on doors, claiming he had wrecked his vehicle and needed money have a tow truck remove it.

The reported incidents happened Sunday and Tuesday.  In one instance, the man apparently got nervous and ran off.

The suspect is a white male in his 30s.
