Voter ID bill up for final vote in House

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania House votes today on a bill requiring voters to show photo identification at polls.  The House Rules Committee approved the bill on Monday.

Most Republicans appear to favor the bill, but some Democrats say there are concerns this could place a hardship on some groups, particularly seniors.

The Senate has already approved a voter ID bill
