CHESTNUTHILL TWP – One woman died in a head-on crash on Route 209 near Brodheadsville late Monday afternoon.  Police say Edith Kelly’s car crossed the center line into the northbound lane and struck an oncoming vehicle. 

Kelly, 69, of Saylorsburg, died at the scene.  Two passengers in her car were flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital. 

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Pocono Medical Center by ambulance.

The accident happened about 4:00.  Route 209 was closed for several hours.
