POCONO TWP – A traffic stop on Route 314 near Tobyhanna, Saturday, resulted in an arrest for drug and weapon possession.

Police stopped the vehicle for an equipment violation.  A search, with a K-9, led to the discovery of a stolen handgun, stolen jewelry and some plastic bags of heroin.

Police arrested Vito Mancini, 21, of Tobyhanna.  He is charged with weapons possession, and passion of heroin with intent to deliver, along with other drug-related crimes.
