POCONO SUMMIT – Police are holding a married couple after a domestic dispute in which both were stabbed. 

Police were called to 2304 Beaver Circle in Pocono Summit late Sunday evening.  On arrival, police found both James Phelan, 52, and Christine Phelan, 38, with stab wounds. 

Both were arrested.  Both are charged with simple assault, harassment, possessing instruments of crime and tampering with evidence.  James is additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
