MILFORD – Patrick Kruger admitted in March that he strangled his wife Holly, then 32, in their Dingmans Ferry home last May.  In Pike County Court on Thursday, Kruger, who was 34 at the time of the crime, was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in state prison, based on his guilty plea to third degree murder. 

Police say both Krugers were found unresponsive in their Gold Key Lake home.  They were taken to Bon Secours Hospital in port Jervis NY, where Holly died.  An autopsy, conducted by an Orange County medical examiner, concluded the death was a homicide.
