EAST STROUDSBURG – A man who allegedly broke into a house, stole a gun then attacked the occupant is being held on multiple charges.  The home invasion happened at the home on South Greet Street just before midnight.

Police day Dane Auble, 19, of York County, broke into the house, found the rifle then tried to attack a tenant living in a second floor apartment.  The tenant was not seriously hurt. 

The tenant was able to call police who found Auble still at the scene.  He was tazed twice then taken into custody.  Police say he appeared to be under the influence of something. 

Auble is in the Monroe County Prison on charges that include burglary, terroristic threats and assault.
