POCONO SUMMIT – Police are looking for a former daycare employee accused of stealing a gold chain a name plate from an infant at the facility.  The theft was reported on April 22, by employees at Shining Star Day Care on Route 940.

Police identified the suspect as Catherine Harper, 22, formerly of Long Pond and a former employee of the daycare.  Harper allegedly sold the stolen items at the All American Cash for Gold on Route 611. 

Harper is now believed to be in California.  Anyone who has information about her is asked to call PMRP at 570-895-2400.
