Milford man sentenced to prison for slashing |

MILFORD - Up to five years in state prison was the sentence given to a Pike County man who slashed another man. Robert Collazo, 34, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 30 to 60 months and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Aggravated Assault. On September 29, 2011, in Lehman Township, Collazo slashed another person with a sharp instrument causing bodily injury. Other sentences issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen: German Florez, 39, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 1 to 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of $450 for the crime of Theft by Deception. Between May 18 and June 18, 2011, in Westfall Township, Florez and his co-defendant would find discarded receipts, enter a store, select merchandise listed on the receipt from the shelves, and then return the items for their cash value. Amy Tracy, 25, of Sussex, NJ was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 2 to 12 months and ordered to pay a fine of $200 for the crime of Retail Theft. On December 11, 2011 in Westfall Township, Tracy took numerous items without paying the full retail value of $153.32 from Wal-Mart. Sharon Matthew, 49, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 6 to 23 months and ordered to pay a fine of $300 for the crime of Criminal Attempt to Commit Acquisition of a Controlled Substance by Forgery. On December 12, 2011, Matthew presented a pharmacy in Westfall Township, a forged prescription for 120 Vicodin pills.
