COOLBAUGH TWP – Police arrested a man on multiple charges alleging sexual abuse of an underage girl for several years.  The girl is the stepdaughter of the suspect’s girlfriend.

Police say the department received a complaint from the mother on May 14, and began the investigation.  During interviews, the victim said the abuse began when the girl was nine and continued up until she was 17. 

The victim also told police she was concerned about another child, 11 years old, still living in the home.  That child was interviewed and acknowledged the suspect had allegedly b een ab using her, starting four years ago, and continuing to the present.

Brandon Blue, 42, of Tobyhanna, was arrested in multiple charges, including rape of a child.and statutory sexual assault.  He is being held in the Monroe County jail.
