TOWN OF WALLKILL – Three men were arrested after a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in the Town of Wallkill, about 20 miles from the Pennsylvania state line, on Wednesday.  One of the suspects is from Matamoras.

Jose Rosario, 26, of Matamoras, PA, was charged with four felony counts of drug possession and felony possession of marijuana following the traffic stop on the interstate. A half ounce of cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and MDMA were recovered as well as over one pound of marijuana.

Rosario’s bail was set at $100,000 cash.

The other three suspects are all Orange County residents. 

Police continued to investigate and obtained and executed a search warrant on a storage unit in the Town of Wallkill. That resulted in the seizure of some three ounces of crack cocaine, three ounces of MDMA and one ounce of heroin.  They also recovered two handguns previously reported stolen from Pennsylvania.
