Pike County Court sentencing  

MILFORD – The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph Kameen:

 Charles Bolte, 58, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 90 days to 5 years, ordered to pay a fine of $1,500 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On February 2, 2012, in Milford Township, Bolte drove his vehicle off the road and was found to be driving under the influence. His blood alcohol level was .166%.

Deborah Borak, 56, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 4 to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,750 and had her driver’s license suspended for 2 years to for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Driving while Driver’s License is Suspended. On May 12, 2012, in Lehman Township, Borak was found to be driving under the influence on a suspended driver’s license from a previous DUI conviction. Her blood alcohol level was .137%.

Sean Engle, 23, of Tafton, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 3 to 23 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,750 and had his driver’s license suspended for 2 years for the crimes of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officers, Driving Under the Influence and Possession with intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia. On December 5, 2011, in Palmyra Township, Engle refused to stop for police and was found to be driving under the influence. Engle was driving under the influence of marihuana and oxycodone, and was in possession of numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, including a spoon, bottle cap, and a hypodermic needle.

Matthew Frapaul, 29, of Hamburg, NJ was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Retail Theft. On October 7, 2011, in Westfall Township, Frapaul took numerous assorted items without paying the full retail value of $918.29.

Joanne Mady, 47, of Milford, PA was sentenced to 3 years probation and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds. Between January 2006 and November 2011, at a business in Dingman Township, Mady collected money from numerous customers, and did not submit the payment to her employer, but instead kept the money to herself.

William Cooper, 40, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 6 months, ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On February 13, 2012, on SR 402, in Blooming Grove Township, Cooper was found to be driving under the influence of Alprazolam, Clonazepam and Aminoclonazepam.

Aldo Colella, 40, of Woodland Park, NJ was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a fine of $500 for the crime of Simple Assault. On March 25, 2012, in Palmyra Township, Colella repeatedly punched another person in the face causing injury.
