BLOOMING GROVE – State police say they are investigating two reported residential burglaries.  The burglaries appear similar.  Both happened during daytime hours.

One burglary apparently happened last Friday, October 19, on Meath Lane in Traces of Latimore in Delaware Township.    A garage door was forced open.  A Macintosh computer and an iPad, along with several thousand dollars wofth of jewelry and a safe containing $5,000 in savings bonds were taken.

The other burglary was reported Tuesday on Aspen Drive in Pocono Mountan Woodland Lakes in Dingman Township.  Entry was through a second floor window.  About $3,000 in jewelry was taken along with two Playstation game systems.
