Hurricane Sandy could threaten area

POCONOS – A precise track has not been determined but it appears likely that much of the northeast, including the Poconos, will feel at least some impact from Hurricane Sandy, by Monday.

The large storm is expected to track up the eastern seaboard.  Some projects have it turning inland, which could bring heavy rain and damaging wind to our area.

The storm could be bigger than Irene, which was downgraded to tropical storm status before it moved inland in September of last year.
