Chain reaction accident behind stopped school bus |

DINGMAN TWP – Four cars that were behind a school bus stopped to discharge students were involved in a chain-reaction crash Thursday afternoon, on Route 2001, near Laufer Lane. The school bus was not involved, nor were any students. Four people in one of the vehicles refused treatment for minor injuries. No one else was hurt. Police say the driver of the last vehicle in the line, Kenneth Sandri, 53 of East Stroudsburg, failed to stop, hitting the car in front of him, pushing that car into a third vehicle, which in turn, hit the fourth car. Sandri was ticketed for careless driving. The driver of the second car, and three juvenile passengers, were the ones slightly hurt. |
