READING – A Saylorsburg woman who was staying at a halfway house in Reading checked out Tuesday morning, but did not return, as required, by afternoon.  Police are continuing the search for Patricia Meeker, who left the facility in the morning, reportedly to look for a job.  She did not return by the assigned time.

Police have not released a description of Meeker, or are saying anything about why she was in the facility.
