National Park Service to host Pocono Challenge Adventure Race
BUSHKILL – The Pocono Challenge Adventure Race will take place in the park on Sunday, September 16, in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
Participants will start at 8:30 a.m. at Smithfield Beach and ride their bicycles north on the McDade Trail to Bushkill Launch where they will kayak down the Delaware River back to Smithfield Beach. When they reach Smithfield Beach they will then trek to Hialeah Recreation Site and then return to Smithfield Beach for the finish. The race will be completed by noon.
