Accused drunk driver bites cop

MOUNT POCONO – Police have filed several charges against a man stopped for erratic driving after the suspect allegedly attacked the officers, biting one of them.

Gonzalo Cortez, 37, was pulled over on Route 611 on suspicion of DUI.  He failed a field sobriety test.

As police were trying to take him into custody, he resisted, biting one officer on the wrist.
