MATAMORAS -  Eastern Pike Regional Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Smokers Paradise in Matamoras, about 10 pm Monday.

The suspect, described as a thin white male, approximately six foot tall dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans and a black scarf, displayed a knife to the cashier demanding money. The perpetrator then left the store on foot towards New York with approximately $500.00 in cash.
