Two charged with heroin trafficking in Monroe County



POCONO SUMMIT - Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Matthew Mills, 32, from Allentown and Feliciano Marzigliano, 23, from Emmaus for heroin possession other drug related charges.

Following a traffic stop on Long Pond Road in  Pocono Summit, suspicions of narcotics trafficking  lead to further investigation and officers located  approximately 159 bags of heroin secreted in Marzigliano’s bra and underwear. Investigation revealed  that Mills originally possessed approximately (180-190) bags of heroin which he purchased in bulk,  manufactured, and bagged in Allentown, then traveled with Marzigliano to Mount Pocono to sell the narcotics in the Pocono area. When Officers stopped the vehicle with Mills and Marzigliano in for an unrelated traffic violation, Mills handed the drugs to Marzigliano and asked her to hide them on  her person. A later search of their vehicle with the assistance of a police K9 revealed an additional 22 bags of heroin concealed within the trunk area, concealed under the spare tire well. Investigation also revealed that both had participated in the illegal delivery of heroin over the past days.

Both face a long list of charges including possession with intent to deliver, Criminal Conspiracy and tampering with evidence They were taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility and await arraignment.
