Looking down Silver Lake Road.  Currently, traffic is stopped only on Milford Road

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP – PennDOT District 4 traffic engineers will install multi-way stop signs at the intersection of Route 2001, Milford Road, and Route 2004, Silver Lake Road, in Delaware Township.  Currently, traffic is stopped only on Milford Road.  Vehicles often move fast on Silver Lake Road, creating a potential hazard for northbound traffic because of the hill approaching the intersection.

The additional traffic signs should increase safety.

Motorists are cautioned to use extra care as drivers become accustomed to the new signage.

The new signs will be installed on Monday, April 13,
