MONROE/PIKE COUNTIES – Expect delays if you use Route 209 in Bushkill, near the Pike/Monroe county line the next several weeks.  The bridge over the Bushkill Creek will be single-lane beginning today. 

The altered traffic pattern will remain in effect until early summer and is necessary to accommodate construction work on the bridge.  During the latter part of the work, a full closure of the bridge will be needed and that will last at least two weeks.

Elsewhere, Milford Road, between Milford commons Road and Valhalla Drive will be subject to lane restrictions and traffic stoppages, from today through the end of the month.  There will be sporadic blasting out side of the roadway.
