LAKE ARIEL – Police in Wayne County have charged three people in connection with a murder plot.  The intended victim was the mother of one of the three.

Patrick Stephen, 17, of Lake Ariel, is charged as an adult in the plot to kill his mother.  Police learned of the plot after Stephen reportedly told an acquaintence at school and that person notified authorities.

According to police accounts, Stephen plotted with Dave Gower, 25, and Jon Gower, 21, both of Moscow.  All three are charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder.  Stephen is additionally charged with solicitation to commit murder.  All three are in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail each.
