Pike tour guide released

MILFORD - The Pike County Hotel Tax Board in conjunction with the Pike County Commissioners announced the first Pike County Visitors Guide & Map, completely dedicated to tourism. This will compliment the website: www.discoverpikepa.com and is funded in part by the Pike County Room Tax collected by each lodging facility in the county. Because of that funding, free listings are available for tourism related businesses, plus full color advertising at very reasonable rates.

The board is are working with Bailey Design & Advertising to publish this guide & map. They say they have had an overwhelming response for listings and we are pleased that advertising for the guide is almost sold out.

Fifty thousand guides will be printed and distributed to 300+ locations throughout Northeast PA, NY and NJ, Interstate Welcome Centers and Pocono Mountain Tourist Information Centers. The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau will also assist distributing the Map & Guide.

This comprehensive Visitors Guide & Map will offer visitors a supplement to the website for planning a trip to Pike County or deciding what to do once here. Visitors can get information on accommodations, area activities, cultural events, outdoor recreation and more. The Visitors Guide and Website are a way for visitors to the area to plan a trip and be able to see everything Pike County and the surrounding area has to offer. In order for these planning tools to be as comprehensive as possible, local tourism related businesses need to be listed and keep their information up to date. There is no charge for tourism related businesses to have a listing on the website or in the guide.

To get more information or how to obtain a Free Listing in the Visitors Guide or Website, please email info@discoverpikepa.com or Call Bailey Design & Advertising at 570-251-1512.
