EAST STROUDSBURG - Police are investigating a strong arm robbery that took place at approximately 9:00 PM Wednesday night in the Dansbury Park, East Stroudsburg.

The 23 year old homeless victim was in the park at the pavilion when he was approached by at least five individuals, both males and females. They started to punch and kick him until he fell to the ground. They then went through his pockets and took a knife and portable CD player.

Two witnesses at the scene saw the commotion and, as they approached, the group fled in a vehicle described as being a blue Buick with rust around the wheel wells.

A partial plate description was obtained. The first three digits were GWK.

The victim said that he did not know the people who assaulted him but stated that he believed that they were made up of Blood and ICP (Insane Clown Posse) members. The victim was transported to Pocono Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
