Kanjorski and Clemens

Washington - Congressman Paul E. Kanjorski (PA-11) met with Yankees pitcher, Roger Clemens, Friday, in advance of the baseball hearing next week.  Congressman Kanjorski is a senior member on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the committee before which Clemens and other baseball players will testify on February 13.

"During my conversation with Roger Clemens, he explained the circumstances under which he will testify on February 13," said Congressman Kanjorski.  "He is testifying to defend his credibility and reputation.  I intend to keep an open mind during this hearing."

Clemens pitched during a game for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at the end of May in 2007.
