LACKAWAXEN – A Lackawaxen man was not injured, even though his car travelled 150 feet down an embankment after he lost control last Friday evening. 

Police say Joseph Galante, Jr., 61, failed to negotiate a curve on Route 590 at Scenic Drive.  The vehicle struck several treets before stopping against a snow bank. 

Police say the driver was charged, but they do not specify what the charge was.
