MOUNT POCONO – Some 350 workers at the huge Liz Claiborne distribution center in Mount Pocono will be without jobs within two months.  Workers were informed, Thursday, the center will close sometime in March.

Company officials, quoted in other media, say the decision was made to “better align its distribution capabilities with economic conditions”.

The company says if possible, some Mount Pocono employees may be offered positions elsewhere, with the company.

The Liz Claiborne facility opened in 1989.
