LACKAWAXEN – Police are asking for help in finding a dog which assists a person with disabilities.  The dog ran away from the owner’s residence in Masthope, and was last seen Monday on Route 590 near Fawn Lake.

The dog is a black German Shepherd, with service dog nylon collar and tag.  The owner’s name and phone number are on the tag.
