DUNMORE – PennDOT District 4-0 announces that a paving project covering almost 37 miles is set to begin in Wayne and Pike counties. Work includes milling, edge repair, paving, linepainting and pavement markings as well as ADA curb ramp design and construction.

The contract was awarded to Hanson Aggregates Pennsylvania, LLC for a bid of $3,749,811.

Work begins today on Route 496, Varden, South Canaan Township, Wayne County, weather permitting. The contract work is expected to be finished by mid-October.

Pike County:

• Route 0434 Lackawaxen Twp from Shohola Road to Shohola Twp, over Balliard Creek.
• Route 2009 Dingman Twp, Federal Rd to Route 6
  

Wayne County:

• Route 0191 Dreher Twp, Carlton Rd to Sterling Twp., Forks Bridge Rd.
• Route 0247 Clinton Twp, N. Main St. to Creamton Dr.
• Route 0296 So. Canaan Twp, Easton Pk to Owego Pk
• Route 0371 Mt. Pleasant Twp, Great Bend Pk to Bethany Pk; Damascus Twp, Delaware River Bridge
• Route 0447 Dreher Twp, Panther Rd. to Main St Bridge
• Route 4043 Scott Twp, Big Valley Rd to Scott Center Rd.
