Police confirm man died following Milford crash

MILFORD – The driver of a car that went out of control on Broad Street Monday, was pronounced dead at  Port Jervis hospital, police now confirm.

James Irwin, 43, of Wild Acres, apparently had a medical problem that caused him to lose control of his SUV, near the top of Broad Street.  The vehicle careened through the Sunoco station lot before stopping, up against a metal fence. 

Emergency personnel administered CPR at the scene before Irwin was transported to Bon Secours Hospital, were he was declared dead.
