ESU plans summer post-session

EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania offers a variety of courses during the summer for individuals looking to further their studies while earning college credit. Enrollment is now open for summer 2008 post-session; classes begin Monday, July 21 and end Friday, August 8.

ESU will offer over 30 undergraduate courses and 30 graduate level courses in a wide variety of academic areas, including: “Public Speaking,” “PCs and their Uses,” “Microeconomics,” “Psychology of the Elementary School Child,” “General Statistics,” “Comparative Politics,” “The Learner and the Learning Process,” “Introduction to Sociology,” and “Inclusionary Practices.”  For a complete listing of courses, visit www4.esu.edu/academics/continuing_ed/summer_sessions/course_offerings.cfm and click on the link for “Post-Session.”  These classes typically meet during the day or evening at locations on ESU’s campus.

ESU will also offer a selection of for-credit courses for professional educators that meet at locations throughout Eastern Pennsylvania including schools,  public libraries, and community centers.  These courses focus on various disciplines within the field of education, including: “History of Education,” “Classroom  Diversity,” “Teaching and Motivating,” “Reducing Classroom Conflict,” “Cooperative Learning,” and “Discipline in the Classroom.”
