LAKE TOWNSHIP – A man speeding on a motorcycle is dead after refusing to stop for police, then leading them on a high-speed chase on Route 191.  The incident happened about 8:00 Saturday evening

Police say Sean Madigan, 22, of Moscow, accelerated, instead of stopping, when he noticed a police car behind him.  After reaching speeds approaching 90 mph, Madigan lost control and struck a tree.  He later died.

No one else was injured.
