HONESDALE - The Wayne County Community Foundation has announced that the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a $3,000 grant.

This grant will be used specifically to upgrade technology in the Community and Board Rooms at the Visitor Center.  These improvements will be available to organizations who currently make use of these rooms for meetings and training sessions.

Over 500 meetings are held for area nonprofit and business organizations at the Visitor Center annually.  The Wayne County Community Foundation recognizes the importance of these facilities for the community.
